Chu Restaurant is located in the new $10 million dining precinct at West HQ. We were commissioned to design the 250 seat space by Steve Anastasiou the owner of China Doll in late 2018 with a brief of 1940s Shanghai referencing glamour and theatre, we did this through a rich palette of colour and textural materials. It's the perfect location for pre-theatre dinner or a post-show night cap. Chu Restaurant will echo the pan-Asian flavours of both China Doll and China Lane, while introducing some unique dishes created especially for the West, made with the highest quality ingredients and freshest local produce, offering a delicious Asian dining experience in a contemporary and relaxed environment.
